The ever popular Chess class is back! Whether you’re a beginner or have been playing the game for a couple of years, this class is just for you. Chess Wizards is a premier chess education company providing fun, informative, and challenging chess lessons to students at over 200 schools and park districts nation-wide. The mission of Chess Wizards is to improve student’s logic, concentration, and critical-thinking skills. While introducing students to the magical world of chess, Chess Wizards teaches children many important life concepts such as the ability to win graciously and accept defeat with dignity and sportsmanship.

Each Soccer Academy sessions develop soccer fundamentals, athleticism and movement, teamwork, confidence, leadership, sportsmanship, and a sense of Lakers pride. Elementary focuses on fun, movement, coordination, and fundamentals. Middle school emphasizes technical skills, tactical awareness, and preparation for high school play. Sessions are one hour and include dynamic warm-ups, skill stations, small-sided games, team challenges, and competitions. Refund & Processing Fee Policy We understand that schedules and circumstances can change. Please review our refund guidelines carefully before registering. Registration & Payment Full payment is required at the time of registration to secure placement in an After the Bell program. Refunds Before a Program Begins Families who withdraw at least 5 business days prior to the first class are eligible for a refund minus any non-refundable processing fees incurred by the district. Refunds After a Program Begins Refund requests made within 5 business days prior to the first class are subject to vendor approval, minus processing fees. No refunds will be issued after the program begins to ensure our staff is paid for their time. Schedule Conflicts / Change of Interest Refunds will not be issued due to scheduling conflicts, changes in interest or missed classes once the program has started. Program Cancellations If the district cancels a program for any reason, families will receive a full refund, including processing fees. The Walk/Run Club is designed to encourage students to develop healthy habits, improve cardiovascular fitness, build confidence, and enjoy physical activity in a fun, supportive environment. Please be sure to wear or pack running or tennis shoes and bring a reusable water bottle. Weather permitted we will be outside but inside the gymnasium is our backup location if needed.
