Catalog Description: Break into a world of taste-sensation and culinary artistry with the Kitchen Kidz! Your young taste-makers will learn to think like a chef while preparing classic, kid-friendly mains and snacks like French Bread Pizza, Triple Berry French Toast, Eggs ala Gordon Ramsey, Hummus, and much, much more. Learning a valuable life skill has never been as much fun as Kitchen Kids– come and see for yourself! Note: Completion of all recipes is dependent on student engagement and participation in all aspects of a working kitchen. Brixology Camp sets the foundation for our next generation of makers! Children learn about different types of engineering and then team up to construct a different engineering-themed project using LEGO® bricks. We’ll learn about aerospace engineering while assembling a space station. We’ll explore mechanical engineering as we build boats and vehicles. That's not all! From carnival rides to drawing machines, mechanical animals to truss bridges, your future engineer will build upon their creativity to solve real-world design challenges, while developing their problem-solving and team-building skills. Discover how things move with science! Each day we'll learn about a different realm of the scientific world. We'll become a zoologist and study the exciting world of birds, including examining owl pellets to see what an owl cannot digest. Join a team of camper engineers and build bridges, domes, cubes, and pyramids. We'll even put on a lab coat and become chemists for the day and make crystal gardens. Jr. Scientists will love constructing birdhouses, completing challenging puzzles, concoct chemistry based creations and explore the many fun sides of science! Step into the spotlight and explore the exciting world of media production in this two-week, half-day camp at West Bloomfield High School. Students will gain hands-on experience in filming, editing, anchoring, and directing while creating their own news stories, public service announcements, and newscasts using professional equipment. Guided by experienced members of the Laker Update crew, participants will build real-world storytelling skills and confidence as content creators. The program concludes with a red carpet showcase to celebrate student work.

Join us for “K-Pop Demon Hunters the Musical”, a unique script based on the popular movie! Students will discover the joys of acting, improv, voice, speech, theater, dance and more! Students will begin each day with Singing, Acting and Dance Classes and Rehearse the play in the afternoon. We’ll have special theme days and special camp activities throughout the week. Camp will end with a culminating presentation where students can showcase the tools and skills they learned with Sunset Theatre Company! Students will have a great time and leave with a brand new sense of self confidence and teamwork. Excellent for both boys and girls. Camp is for beginners to advanced students.
