Elementary Drawing with Young RembrandtsEnrichmentYour child will learn about design, composition and illustration using unique step-by-step drawing methods. Classes will strengthen their drawing and coloring skills. Limited space to allow for teacher/student ratio. Maximum number of students is 12. Each four week class has different drawing lessons. Pickup after the Drawing Class is at the Main Doors. Registration fills up quickly! Refund & Processing Fee Policy We understand that schedules and circumstances can change. Please review our refund guidelines carefully before registering. Registration & Payment Full payment is required at the time of registration to secure placement in an After the Bell program. Refunds Before a Program Begins Families who withdraw at least 5 business days prior to the first class are eligible for a refund minus any non-refundable processing fees incurred by the district. Refunds After a Program Begins Refund requests made within 5 business days prior to the first class are subject to vendor approval, minus processing fees. No refunds will be issued after the program begins to ensure our staff is paid for their time. Schedule Conflicts / Change of Interest Refunds will not be issued due to scheduling conflicts, changes in interest or missed classes once the program has started. Program Cancellations If the district cancels a program for any reason, families will receive a full refund, including processing fees. FIRST Lego League Challenge Grades 4-5EnrichmentFIRST LEGO League Challenge creates a world where students meet science and technology and want more. Where obstacles and challenges are eagerly met. Kick off the 2026-2027 season in September, 2026. First Lego League “Challenge” is for Grades 4-5th. Practices are from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday and 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday at Doherty Elementary. NO Transportation is provided! The total number of practices will vary based on the final competition dates. *Parent involvement is extremely important! Students who have parents volunteer as a coach are guaranteed a spot! Math PentathlonEnrichmentMath Pentathlon teaches and reinforces basic math concepts and skills, stimulates creative thinking, develops problem-solving skills, develops spatial computational and logical reasoning and good sportsmanship. Math Pentathlon consists of 20 games spread through 4 divisions by grade level. Parents: A completed iChat form and a copy of your driver's license needs to uploaded here. MathCounts WBMSEnrichmentCalling all 6-8th Graders! Does your child enjoy the challenge of story problems and critical thinking exercises? Do they have a passion for math and an interest in competing at a National Level Math Competition? Meetings will be virtual via a Zoom session every other Sunday from 2-3:30PM. Mathcount material will be shared with students and guidance on how to prepare for the mathcount competition will be shared during Zoom sessions. The focus of the program is to apply concepts learned in elementary and middle school to advanced problem solving for real world applications. Students will use mental math, problem-solving strategies and develop critical thinking skills. Students will be required to complete some homework after each class. We are looking for parent volunteers to help with the Math Counts journey, please indicate on the Google Form if you’re available to help out. The program is open to all WBMS students.
