Kitchen Kidz 1 - Summer Break Camp

Catalog Description: Break into a world of taste-sensation and culinary artistry with the Kitchen Kidz! Your young taste-makers will learn to think like a chef while preparing classic, kid-friendly mains and snacks like French Bread Pizza, Triple Berry French Toast, Eggs ala Gordon Ramsey, Hummus, and much, much more. Learning a valuable life skill has never been as much fun as Kitchen Kids– come and see for yourself! Note: Completion of all recipes is dependent on student engagement and participation in all aspects of a working kitchen. Students are responsible for cleaning dishes, equipment, work and dining areas, and preparation of all food items as well as general social and interpersonal norms. Generally, we prioritize the items we intend on eating for snack and lunch. Menu: ● Day 1: USA, Deeee-licious! ○ Take Home: Trail Mix (Hypoallergenic) ○ Grilled Cheese w/Ham or Turkey ○ Tomato Soup ● Day 2: Latin America, Que Rico ○ Burritos (rice, beans, cheese, salsa, sour cream) ○ Quesadilla / Sincronizada ○ Take home: Salsa Fresca ● Day 3: Français s il vous plaît ○ French Toast w/Triple Berry Compote ○ Eggs & Bacon ala Chef Gordon Ramsey ○ Take Home: Pickled vegetables ● Day 4: Grazie, Mediterranean! ○ Pasta Marinara ○ French Bread Pizza ○ Hummus w/veggies ○ Take Home: Pizza Dough ● Day 5: Desserts and Delights! ○ Frozen yogurt with berries ○ Ice cream in a bag ○ Funfetti cake ○ Take Home: Recipe Print-outs

Refund & Processing Fee Policy We understand that schedules and circumstances can change. Please review our refund guidelines carefully before registering.

Registration & Payment

Full payment is required at the time of registration to secure placement in an After the Bell program.

Refunds Before a Program Begins

Families who withdraw at least 5 business days prior to the first class are eligible for a refund minus any non-refundable processing fees incurred by the district.

Refunds After a Program Begins

Refund requests made after the first class will be considered on a prorated basis, minus processing fees.

No refunds will be issued after the program reaches the halfway point to ensure our staff is paid for their time.

Schedule Conflicts / Change of Interest

Refunds will not be issued due to scheduling conflicts, changes in interest or missed classes once the program has started, except as outlined above.

Program Cancellations

If the district cancels a program for any reason, families will receive a full refund, including processing fees.
